Air connections to and from the Cote d'Azur are exceptionally good. International Nice Riviera Airport, the second largest airport in France, after Paris, is a major international hub. Road and rail links are also excellent.

International Nice Riviera Airport : A major airline transport hub, is the largest airport outside of Paris. It handled 12 million passengers in 2004, and international passenger figures increased by 18.5% in 2004, surpassing European airports such as Geneva and Lisbon.

There are two terminals, one for international flights and the other for domestic flights. The current expansion programme will bring its capacity to 16 million passengers by the year 2007.

One of the largest business traffic airports in France. This airport handles international tourism and business traffic, with a capacity for business planes up to 22 tons. A VIP service and trilingual secretarial support are available for its international business clientele. 

HeliAir Monaco Daily helicopter services connect the Nice Riviera International Airport to Monaco, Cannes and Sophia Antipolis. With 216,432 passengers in 2004, the Nice Monaco line is the busiest in Europe.

Over 150 trains leave the Nice Train Station daily, including the Trans Europe Express Nice-Paris and Nice-Milan. 25 other stations along the coast are on the French and European network. Passengers can take the revolutionary high speed T.G.V. to Paris, Lyon and Marseilles. A "T.G.V. Méditerranée" is in the planning stage to link the French Riviera to Italy and Spain.
